COMMUNITY HEALTHCORPS

Promoting public awareness of the need for healthcare for under-served persons and communities; recruitment and development of volunteers to support community health centers; and provide guidance and assistance to community residents and health center users with enrollment in health center programs and health insurance plans of others

Translation and interpretation services, namely, provide and assist limited English speaking patients with translation and interpretation services; education services, namely, provide health education classes, workshops and seminars on chronic disease management techniques, preventive health measures, and healthy lifestyle choices; provide instruction to community residents and health center users with enrollment in health center programs and health insurance plans of others, and providing educational awards to members in connection with all the aforementioned services

Medical and health services, namely, assist pregnant women during labor and delivery, and in developing a birth plan; consultation services, featuring the development of health care programs to meet the physical, mental and social health needs of medically under-served populations
