Association services, namely, representing the interests of cancer patients by enhancing patient access to clinical cancer trials and work to assure payment of patient care costs associated with such trials, by generating health outcomes data that can be useful in helping to further science and improve patient treatment, by assisting in the translation of laboratory discoveries into clinical applications of new treatments and therapeutic agents, by enhancing scientific exchange with the international cancer research community and promote global participation in clinical trials
