Web-enabled digital audio storage device that finds, records, stores, and catalogs digital audio content based on user selections of such content through an Internet-based system that searches for the selected content and matches the chosen content with a radio electronic programming guide to identify a match at a particular time, at which time the digital audio storage device programs itself to record the chosen content at the specified time, record the content at the chosen time, make a file record of the recording, and permit user lookup and access at a later time.
