Develops economical, environmentally sound, efficient biomass power, liquid biofuels, and other salable bioproducts and technologies that will decrease waste volume, diminish US dependence on fossil fuels and foreign oil, decrease air pollution such as air toxics and greenhouse gases, and improve sagging rural economies
