Classification Information

The CD Wall-It is an innovative way to store and display your Compact Disc cases; The CD Wall-It system allows you to easily place any standard sized Compact Disc case into the patented "holder"; The "holder" is slightly larger than the Compact Disc case (Dimensions?) and holds the disk firmly in place with a claw like mechanism; Simply angle the Compact Disc case into the "holder" then lightly press down; The claw mechanism allows the consumer to open the doors of their Compact Disc cases while inside of the CD Wall-It "holder and still have full access to their Compact Disc; The "holder" has five small holes pre-drilled into it; There is one hole on each corner of the "holder" and one hole in the center; These holes allow you to easily attach the "holder" to the wall with anything from small picture frame nails to thumbtacks/ push-pins; The "holder" also comes with four pre-drilled attachment slots; These slots allow you to connect multiple "holders" to each other allowing the consumer to arrange their "holders" in a variety of different shapes; These attachment slots are found on the top, bottom, right side, and left side of each "holder" (2 x 1;1/2 x 0;1); Each slot is symmetrical with its corresponding slot, meaning the top is perfectly lined up with the bottom, right side perfectly lined up with the left side; The CD Wall-It's attachment system is based on two types of "shape connectors"; The "shape connectors" two-shapes are 1;) Flat, and 2;) Rounded 45-degree angle (1;1/8 x 1;1/8 x 1;1/2 x 01); All "shape connectors" have rounded ends and rounded sides; The rounded ends allow the "shape connectors" to slide easily into the attachment slots on the "holder", and the rounded sides avoid sharp plastic hard edges; Each "shape connector" also has four protuberances, two on the front side, and two on the backside; These protuberances are designed to stop the "shape connectors" from sliding too far into its respective attachment slot; These protuberances allow each "holder" to line up perfectly with every other "holder" when connected by preventing the "shape connectors" from sliding out of position; With these two different shapes, the consumer can create a wide variety of shapes and designs; The Flat "shape connectors" allow the "holders" to connect horizontally or vertically in any direction; An example of this would be to arrange "holders" all over a flat wall; The Rounded 45-degree angle "shape connector" allows for much more versatility; By using a combination of both, Rounded 45-degree angle and Flat "shape connectors", consumers can create 3 dimensional boxes that protrude from their walls, create a stair like effect, or wrap around corners
