Commodity exchange services, namely, cloud compute resource exchange services, that facilitate the trading and sale of cloud compute resources between businesses, and other market participants; providing on-demand and real-time price discovery and direct cost comparison of cloud compute resources by way of a standardized unit of measure; providing analysis of cloud resource consumption; providing exchange markets for trading, clearing, confirmation and financial trading risk management of cloud compute resources; market-making, also known as the quoting of both a buy price and a sell price of a financial instrument or commodity; brokerage services in the field of cloud compute resources; providing web-based financial exchange and financial information services via a computer terminal or a mobile communication device; and providing all the aforesaid services from the internet
