BAM Strength Training educated mothers of newborns on the importance of proper body mechanics needed to lift, carry and move their baby; There is a heavy emphasis on injury prevention, knowledge of proper movement mechanics associated with lifting baby in or from the various pieces of baby furniture, and creating a unique bonding experience with their baby; In addition, I teach a progressive resistance approach to strength training where mom can use her baby as the weight; Because mothers will be lifting their baby into toddler hood, I have developed over 20 exercises that can be used by moms that are also transferred to activities of daily living
