Association services in the field of primary care medicine and it's specialties and sub-specialties;namely, developing and adminstering standardized tests to determine qualification in the field, maintaining a registry of certified practitioners, professional certification issuance to physicians in recognition of special knowledge of primary care medicine, development and maintenance of practice standards and promoting dialogue among health care stakeholder groups including consumers, health plans and insurers and medical societies and government; educational services in the field of primary care medicine and it's specialties and sub-specialties; namely, assisting the educational and evaluative efforts of residency training programs in hospitals and other institutions providing medical training; consulting services in the field of primary care medicine education and it's specialties and sub-specialties; namely, providing consultations to hospitals and other medical institutions regarding the design of the residency training programs relating to primary care medicine; foundation services in the field of primary care medicine and it's specialties and sub-specialties; namely, promoting awareness of the need for medical professionalism and involvement of physicians in health care quality measurement and improvement, organization of conferences and symposia in the fields of medical professionalism, quality improvement and efficiency in health care, research for others in the field of medical professionalism, health care quality assesment and the science of data driven improvement and the relevancy, effectiveness and maintenance of medical certification
