Electrical leak detection and leak management system for use with air operated double diaphragm pumps comprised of a primary leak detection sensor installed in the area between the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) overlay and the backup diaphragm, a secondary leak detection sensor installed in the air section of the pump, an external component connected to the air operated double diaphragm pump in the nature of a visual alarm, an audible alarm and an automatic pump shut-off in case of leak detection sold as a unit
