Promoting public awareness of family issues, namely, safety and permanency in homes and communities through prevention efforts aimed at child abuse, domestic violence, gang activity, and substance abuse, increasing accessibility to health and mental health care services, increasing availability and accessibility of quality childcare and youth programs, ways to assist families in obtaining access to resources aimed at economic self-sufficiency, and strengthening parenting skills; referrals to community services and agencies

Education services, namely, providing parent education classes focusing on parenting skills, child development, prevention of and recovery from child abuse, domestic violence, gang activity, and substance abuse; education services, namely, conducting first-aid, health, healthcare, and nutrition classes, English as a second language classes, school readiness classes, homework clubs for tutoring, and after-school educational programs for children ages 5 to 12; children's reading groups and library services; charitable services, namely, providing training in the field of filing insurance applications
