AKISNI WARRIOR LODGE

Educational and cultural services, namely, providing classes, workshops, and training programs in the fields of behavioral health, trauma recovery, substance use prevention, reentry preparation, and cultural identity development for justice-involved and at-risk individuals; organizing and facilitating mentoring programs and community-based initiatives designed to promote healing, resilience, and positive life outcomes, all delivered through a culturally responsive framework rooted in Indigenous values and traditions. The Akisni Warrior Lodge operates both within correctional facilities and in the broader community, establishing a continuum of care that supports participants throughout their reentry journey. Internally, it functions as a therapeutic community where individuals work to heal from trauma, foster personal accountability, and interrupt cycles of intergenerational harm—ultimately extending healing to their families and communities.

Behavioral health and wellness services, namely, providing trauma-informed recovery support, substance use counseling, peer mentorship, and culturally grounded healing practices for justice-involved and at-risk individuals; delivering therapeutic community programming within correctional settings and continuing support post-release through reentry-based wellness initiatives; incorporating Indigenous values, talking circles, family healing practices, and traditional wellness approaches that address intergenerational trauma and promote long-term emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The Akisni Warrior Lodge bridges in-facility healing with community reintegration to support sustained recovery and personal transformation.
