Health Decisions provides clinical trials services that are adaptive in terms of allowing the management and strategic directions to be fluid and readily adjusted based on what happens in the field on a daily basis; The fundamental concept is that management today is based on what happened in the field yesterday; In this case, the "field" includes clinical sites at which patients are examined and data recorded throughout the world; Health Decisions has the unique ability to collect numerous performance indices as well as data, to summarize this information in reports, and to make these reports available over the web within hours of when the measurements were made; In this sense, the term adaptive refers to the ability to respond very quickly and to change the way a study is managed, on both a day-to-day tactical measure as well as on a strategic level; An example of the former is that when enrollment strategies are working well at one site, this information quickly becomes apparent and can be shared with other sites; Through this method, Health Decisions has recently established several industry benchmarks for rapid enrollment of study subjects; An example of the latter is the ability to make very quick, overnight decisions on dose-escalation studies, reducing the time for such studies by 50% or more as compared to traditional timelines
