Diagnostic test kit comprising reagents for DNA amplification and detection including primers, probes, enzymes, buffers, stabilizers, a test strip capable of detecting amplicons generated comprising of immunological reagents, buffers, and chromatagraphic material capable of detecting said amplicons generated in the presence of a positive target within a sample, which includes plants, soil, water, insects, cultures, and other sample types commonly tested for the presence of nucleic acids, and said detection strip contained inside a cassette like containment device or assembled with a cover like material to reduce contamination by the subsequent amplicon generated by amplification of a targeted nucleic acid sequence
