Facilitating tissue banking by training and educating others as to proper methods of tissue banking, namely, providing courses of instruction, seminars and conferences in the field of tissue banking; Facilitating tissue banking by publishing books, journals, news bulletins, magazines and educational pamphlets directed to standards and procedures in the field of tissue banking

Developing and setting accreditation standards for tissue banking to the order and specification of the Board of Governors of the Association; Testing, analysis and evaluation of tissue banking establishments to determine conformity with established standards for tissue banking for accreditation purposes
