Telecommunications devices, namely IP network access devices, namely micro-gateway products that convert voice signals into data packets, format the data packets for transmission over an IP network, receive data packets from an IP network and convert the data packets into voice signals, communication boxes, and software, used in conjunction with a service provider network to establish voice communications with at least two parties wherein at least a portion of the communication is transported over an IP network.
